Loretta Heard was born in
Rochester,
N.Y.
At an early age she grew interested in music and literature.
Her love of music flourished in high school and she eventually decided to
pursue a music degree at
Nazareth
College.
After spending so much time working with music and the arts Heard shifted
gears and began a computer science degree at Bryant & Stratton.
Through out the author’s life she has kept a journal of her
relationships and her closest friends’ relationships.
It was this journal that inspired her to write I Never Meant to Make
You Cry. Over the years she found that she had accumulated a collection of
many heart breaking and amazing experiences. “After a few of my own bad
experiences with relationships and listening to complaints from people who were
close to me, I decided to write a book,” said Heard “ The ideas of my book came
from different mishaps with different people including myself.
I just incorporated a lot of drama into one story.” I Never Meant to
Make You Cry is an amazing love story that gives readers a glimpse into the
difficult life of the modern woman. Heard
currently lives in
Rochester,
N.Y. where she works for Eastman
Kodak. She spends the majority of her free time with her son and family.
Heard is presently writing the sequel to I Never Meant to Make You Cry.
When Loretta isn’t working on her writing, she can be found composing music,
exploring new recipes and reading.
